How much turnover is leaking away out of your workshop?

Four figures about your own business. No email address, no sales pitch, no account. You see the result straight away and you can forward it to a colleague.

Your numbers

Everyone who books hours in the workshop.
Unanswered calls, messages outside opening hours, forms left lying. Feel free to estimate low.
Labour plus parts, averaged across MOTs, services and repairs.
Not every missed conversation is work. This is the part you would normally have booked.
Our own assumption is 60. Set it lower if you are sceptical, that is fine.
Estimated lost workshop turnover

€ 5.900

per month
€ 70.800 per year
€ 1.475 per mechanic per month
23 appointments per month
If a system catches 60% of this

€ 3.540

per month in recovered workshop turnover

How this is calculated

missed conversations per week × 4.33 weeks × your conversion × your turnover per appointment

This is an estimate, not a promise. It calculates with figures you enter yourself, and with the assumption that a missed conversation had the same chance of work as one you do pick up. In practice that is never exactly right. Use it to see an order of magnitude, not to build a business case.

What we do not count: customers who stay away after a bad experience, quotes nobody follows up, MOTs booked at the competitor and empty ramps from no-shows. Those are not in here, while in many workshops they add up to more than the missed calls.

Would you rather have your real numbers than an estimate?

In the pilot we measure how much customer contact actually becomes an appointment at your place, before and after. That figure is yours, even if you stop afterwards.
