The test drive is the appointment that really matters.

Whoever sits behind the wheel buys more often. Yet the scheduling is where it goes wrong most: the vehicle is not there, nobody is free, or the back and forth takes so long the buyer drops out.

Between "I'd like a drive" and a date there are too many steps.

A buyer asks if they can test drive. Then someone has to check whether the vehicle is there, whether it is not out on loan and whether a salesperson is free. That costs three messages and half a day.

In that half day they have already driven at another business. Not because that business is better, but because the answer came faster there.

On top of that it regularly goes wrong: two buyers get the same slot, or the vehicle turns out to have just been sold.

  • The buyer drives at the competitor and buys there too.
  • Double bookings on the same vehicle make a poor first impression.
  • A test drive that does not happen costs your salesperson a block in their calendar.

What the system does.

First check whether it is possible, only then name a slot.

  1. 01

    Which vehicle exactly

A test drive is about one specific car from your stock, not about a model. That gets established first.

  2. 02

    Can that vehicle be driven

Is it there, is it not reserved and is it not already out on loan. If the answer is no, no slot is offered.

  3. 03

    What the buyer needs

Bring a driving licence, and sometimes ID. That is in the confirmation, so nobody comes for nothing.

  4. 04

    Proposing two slots

From the availability you supply. Never name a slot the system does not know is free.

  5. 05

    Book and confirm

The appointment goes into the calendar with the vehicle attached, and the buyer gets a confirmation with time, place and what to bring.

  6. 06

    Reminding

A message the day before. Anyone who cannot make it gets two alternatives straight away instead of leaving a hole in your calendar.

A conversation that comes out of this.

An example, not a recording of a customer. You set the tone yourself, this one is ours.

More people behind the wheel.

Less back and forth

From "can I drive it" to a date in two messages instead of two days.

No double bookings

Because the vehicle hangs off the appointment, it cannot be promised twice by accident.

Fewer empty slots

A reminder the day before takes out most of the no-shows, and anyone who cannot make it reschedules instead of staying away.

The salesperson knows who is coming

Name, vehicle, what has already been discussed and whether a trade-in is in play. That saves the first quarter of an hour of every conversation.

Not a loose little helper.

A test drive is an appointment with a vehicle attached to it. That is why this workflow always goes past your stock before a time is mentioned.

Which layers this touches
  • UnderstandWhich vehicle, and whether it is free.
  • ActProposing, pinning down, confirming and reminding.
  • ConnectThe appointment lands in the calendar your team works in.
Works together with
  • New enquirySupplies the buyer who wants to go further than looking.
  • Trade-inAsks in advance about the vehicle they bring themselves.
  • FinancingAnswers the financing question that often comes with the test drive.

What this agent does not do.

  • It offers no slot without the availability being known.
  • It does not check a driving licence. That happens when the key is handed over.
  • It allows no test drive outside the rules you have set.
  • An unaccompanied test drive is your decision, not the system's.
